DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors is slowly fixing more than two-and-a-half million defective ignition switches. So far, GM has only replaced 47-thousand.

The faulty switches are linked to more than 40-crashes and 13 deaths. Additionally the automaker says there may be more recalls coming this summer.

Product Chief Mark Reuss leads a team of company execs who will be responsible for deciding when a recall should be issued. The company is doing an exhaustive review of old data as they look for any potential problems with its vehicles.
