A 35-year-old East Lansing man is likely to face numerous charges after allegedly pulling the trigger in two fatal shootings on Monday. An employee of a Rite Aid pharmacy near Frandor was shot and killed in the morning, followed by another fatal shooting less than a mile and a half away in East Lansing at a home on Coolidge. The pharmacy employee was shot in the head inside the store just after 11 a.m. The suspect was arrested several hours later after a standoff with police outside his duplex. Police have an 11 a.m. news conference planned to give more details and release the names of the victims and if they have a motive for the shootings.
