DETROIT (WKZO) -- The U.S. government objects to Detroit's final plan to move out of Chapter 9 bankruptcy.

Housing and Urban Development officials reportedly filed paperwork objecting to the plan Monday night. Officials say the filing comes over a discrepancy in what the government believes they are owed. Emergency Financial Manager Kevyn Orr's plan calls for the feds to get 90-million dollars, however government officials believe it should be 112-million dollars.

Oakland and Macomb counties have also filed objections, however that's reportedly over unhappiness with plans for the Detroit water department.
