April will be a big month for Peter Gabriel -- not only will he be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist, but a new film capturing a concert that the singer played last year at London's O2 Arena will be screened in select theaters across the U.S. Peter Gabriel: Back to Front will be shown in more than 400 cinemas as a one-night-only event on April 23 at 7:30 p.m. local time.
The one-hour-and-40-minute film features highlights from an October 2013 performance from Gabriel's Back to Front tour, which celebrated the 25th anniversary of the acclaimed musician's classic album So . The ex- Genesis frontman was accompanied by a band that features some musicians who helped him record the 1986 collection, which includes such classic songs as "Sledgehammer," "Big Time," "Red Rain" and "In Your Eyes." Gabriel also performed a number of other well-known tunes from throughout his career at the event, including "Solsbury Hill," "Shock the Monkey" and "Digging in the Dirt."
Peter Gabriel: Back to Front also features interviews with a number of the singer's musical friends and associates. The film was directed by Hamish Hamilton , whose credits include concert films by such stars as The Rolling Stones , U2 , Madonna and Neil Diamond .

Gabriel's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame takes place April 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
