LANSING, MI (WHTC) - Michigan’s Department of Transportation released their fifth “reality check” video and fact sheet today. The campaign explains to drivers and taxpayers why road repairs don’t last like they are expected to. The newest installment addresses the myth that Michigan needs to build roads that last or hold contractors accountable when roads do not last.
MDOT says factors other than contractors are to blame for bad roads. For more MDOT reality checks, visit www.michigan.gov/realitycheck.
