WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) -- Congressman Fred Upton of St. Joseph is calling the findings of the internal probe by General Motors into its ignition switch defects "deeply disturbing." The chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee says GM CEO Mary Barra will be called back before his panel by the end of the month, along with the author of the 300-plus page report.

Upton says the automaker has sent his committee over 500-thousand additional pages of documents in the past week related to the deadly problem, which is blamed for at least 13 deaths.
