DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors CEO Mary Barra appears likely to be cleared in an internal investigation of possible wrongdoing in the carmaker's recall crisis. The "New York Times" reports investigators are expected to find company executives, employees, and departments were responsible for the delayed recall of millions of cars.

GM began a series of recalls this year because of faulty ignition switches the company blames for 13 deaths. The switches prevented airbags from deploying in crashes. GM engineers first discovered problems with the switches in 2001.
