The Tigers rallied to beat the White Sox 4-3 last night in Chicago. Chicago took an early lead with three runs in the third inning, but Detroit scored one run in the fourth and two more in the sixth before Bryan Holaday broke the tie with a two-out bunt to score Austin Jackson in the ninth. Starter Justin Verlander didn't figure in the decision, giving up three runs on six hits while striking out four in seven innings. Joba Chamberlin got the win and Joe Nathan notched his fifth save of the season. Max Scherzer takes the mound for the Tigers in this afternoon's series finale while Hector Noesi is expected to get the nod for the White Sox.
