LANSING (WKZO) -- Sixteen states, including Michigan, have reported cases of measles this year.
According to the CDC, as of August there were 159 cases reported nationally, compared with an average of 60 cases annually in previous years. Two of those cases have been reported in Michigan this year, with a third being investigated.
Both confirmed cases in the state were infants who were exposed to measles when they were out of the country. They have both recovered.
