A second collection of recordings capturing The Beatles performing live on the U.K.'s BBC Radio is set to be released on November 11 On Air -- Live at the BBC Volume 2 will feature a whopping 63 tracks, and will be available as a two-CD set and a 180-gram vinyl package.

The compilation includes 37 previously unreleased performances, as well as 23 unreleased recordings of the band members chatting amongst themselves and with various BBC radio hosts.  The album also features a 48-page booklet.

On Air -- Live at the BBC Volume 2 is culled from the dozens of appearances The Beatles made on various radio shows between March 1962 and June 1965.  Among the many gems on the collection are 10 songs the band never recorded in the studio for the EMI label, including renditions of Chuck Berry 's "I'm Talking About You" and the standard "Beautiful Dreamer."  In addition, the album boasts alternate versions of several cover tunes that appeared on the first Live at the BBC compilation, including Berry's "Memphis, Tennessee," Little Richard 's "Lucille" and Ray Charles ' "I Got a Woman."

Of course, the new retrospective also features live takes of many of the Fab Four's own early classics, such as "I Saw Her Standing There," "Do You Want to Know a Secret," "And I Love Her" and "If I Fell."

"There's a lot of energy and spirit," Paul McCartney says of the BBC recordings.  "We are going for it, not holding back at all, trying to put in the best performance of our lifetimes."

A promotional video for the new compilation can be viewed now at The Beatles' official YouTube channel .

In conjunction with the release of On Air -- Live at the BBC Volume 2 , a remastered version of 1994's Live at the BBC also will be issued.  That album reached #3 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified four-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
