The surviving members of The Doors , guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore , will reunite at a special film screening on December 5 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  The event will include a viewing of the 2012 documentary Mr. Mojo Risin': The Story of L.A. Woman , which focuses on the making of The Doors' final album with late singer Jim Morrison .

The screening, dubbed "An Evening with The Doors," is part of the museum's ongoing Film Independent at LACMA series.  Krieger and Densmore will be on hand to discuss their experiences with The Doors, the group's legacy and their current projects.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.  Visit LACMA.org for details on how to purchase tickets.

Meanwhile, Krieger will be at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on December 31 to help ring in the New Year with Gov't Mule , the group fronted by longtime Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes .  Robby will join the jam band to play a set of Doors songs, just like he did at Gov't Mule's recent Halloween concerts on October 30 in L.A. and October 31 in Oakland, California.

In addition, Krieger has lined up a January 16 show with his current band Robby Krieger's Jam Kitchen at one of The Doors' favorite L.A.-area haunts, the Whisky a Go Go.  The performance will be part of a monthlong series of events celebrating the famed Hollywood club's 50th anniversary.
