Stevie Nicks, U2, Stray Cats Appear in New DVD Featuring Highlights of 1983 US Festival

A new concert video featuring footage from the star-studded 1983 edition of the US Festival is available for purchase now as a digital download, and will be released on DVD on December 3.  US Festival 1983: Days 1-3 contains performances from Stevie Nicks , U2 , The Stray Cats and a variety of other popular rock, new wave and heavy metal acts.

The festival, which took place in San Bernardino, California, during Memorial Day weekend in '83, was the second of two musical extravaganzas sponsored and financed by Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak .  Among the other groups included on the lineup were The Clash , Men at Work , INXS , The Scorpions , Judas Priest , The English Beat and Triumph .  More than 670,000 people were estimated to have attended the three-day fest.

Among the many highlights featured in the video are live renditions of Nicks' "Stand Back," U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and The Stray Cats' "Rock This Town."  A full clip of U2's "Sunday Bloody Sunday" performance can be viewed now exclusively at RollingStone.com .

The digital version of the US Festival 1983: Days 1-3 is available for $9.99 at iTunes, while the DVD lists at $19.95.
