Rod Stewart already owns homes in California, Florida and the U.K., but now he's reportedly added another one to his collection. British newspaper The Daily Mail reports that Stewart's picked up a new mansion in the British countryside for just over seven million bucks.
According to the paper, Rod's new place is called Durrington House, and it dates back to the 1700s. It has 10 bedrooms, a lake, 46 acres of pasture and woodlands, a rose garden, a croquet lawn and some cottages where his friends -- or an assortment of his eight children -- can crash. According to the Mail , the singer, ever careful with his finances, moved to buy the house after the price was dropped from $7.7 million.
The mansion is about 30 miles from Wood House, his current mansion in Epping Forest. It's not known if Stewart, wife Penny and their two young sons will move to the new place, or keep both homes.
