Carole King , John Fogerty and Jackson Browne have been added to the list of performers at the upcoming Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which is being held April 18 at Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. King will perform in honor of her ex-manager and producer, Lou Adler , who's being presented with a lifetime achievement award. As for Fogerty and Browne, they'll do the honors for new inductee Randy Newman . King, Fogerty and Browne are themselves Rock Hall inductees.
In addition, famed stoner comedy duo Cheech & Chong will present Adler with his award, while R&B star Usher will be on hand to sing a tribute to super-producer Quincy Jones , who's also getting a lifetime achievement honor.
Heart , meanwhile, will be inducted by Chris Cornell , frontman for the Seattle alternative-rock band Soundgarden . Members of two other major Seattle rock acts -- Pearl Jam 's Mike McCready and Alice in Chains ' Jerry Cantrell -- will join Heart for their performance that evening.
