Rare, unedited video and audio of two of Elvis Presley 's last concerts are set to be auctioned off on July 27 at a memorabilia sale in Santa Monica, California.  The five tapes feature about three-and-a-half hours of professionally filmed black-and-white footage, including performances from the late rock 'n' roll icon's shows on June 19 and June 21, 1977, in Omaha, Nebraska, and Rapid City, South Dakota, respectively.

The tapes also feature backstage and behind-the-scenes footage of Presley, his then-girlfriend Ginger Alden and his father, Vernon .  Interesting highlights from the videos include are Elvis receiving special presentations from the Sioux Indian Reservation and the mayor of Rapid City during the South Dakota concert.

The tapes are believed to include the last full recorded concert performances by Presley, whose final show took place on June 26, 1977, and who passed away the next month.  The purchaser of the videos will be prohibited from broadcasting, reproducing or publishing them.

About a dozen other Presley-related items also will be up for bid at the Mecum Celebrity Items Auction.  The sale also will feature a pair of glasses worn by John Lennon and a ring once owned by Ringo Starr .  Visit Mecum.com to check out all of the collectibles being auctioned.
