John Fogerty is winding down an eventful year that saw him promoting his acclaimed collaborative album Wrote a Song for Everyone with a variety of tour dates and festival appearances. Now, the former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman has begun lining up shows in the New Year, and has announced his first U.S. performances for 2014.
Fogerty will play a pair of concerts at The Paramount in Huntington, New York, on January 29 and 30. Tickets for the shows are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer also has scheduled appearances at three European festivals this summer. He be playing at the Clam Rock Festival in Klam, Austria, on July 11; at the Lovely Days Festival in Wiesen, Austria, on July 12; and at the Bospop Festial in Weert, Netherlands, on July 13.
Lastly, Fogerty recently posted an amusing video on his official YouTube channel in which he and his two musical sons, Tyler and Shane , spread a little holiday cheer. In the clip, John and his kids play "Jingle Bells" on kazoos as the veteran rocker also bangs out the tune on a piano. At the end of the video, Fogerty declares that he's "looking forward to a happy, rockin' New Year."
