Every year brings a new crop of holiday albums by a variety of music stars. Some go on to achieve platinum success -- like Rod Stewart 's 2012 disc Merry Christmas, Baby , for example -- while others are forgotten. But what are the best-selling Christmas albums of all time? Billboard has compiled a list of the 10 top-selling holiday discs in U.S. history, and the King of Rock 'n' Roll himself, Elvis Presley , still reigns supreme.
Presley's Elvis' Christmas Album , which first came out back in 1957, remains the biggest-selling Christmas album of all time in the U.S., with 10 million copies sold. Yuletide collections by such other legendary singers as Nat King Cole , Barbra Streisand and Johnny Mathis also appear on the tally.
