With Christmas almost upon us, The Rolling Stones have posted a new video featuring frontman Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards sending out holiday wishes to their fans.

The brief clip, which appears on the group's official YouTube channel , begins with a message that reads "Season's Greetings" alongside the band's famous tongue-and-lips logo, as the song "Winter" from the 1973 Stones album Goat's Head Soup plays in the background.

Jagger then is shown and declares, "Hi everybody.  2013 has been a great year for me and I want to thank everyone who came to see us on the road."

Up next comes a clip featuring Richards, who is seen smoking a cigarette and sitting at the control console of a recording studio.  "Happy Holidays, everybody," he says with a smile.  "It's been a great year this year, and looking forward to seeing you all in the next year.  I'm sure it'll be even better."

The video finishes with a clip of Jagger saying, "So, have a Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year, and I hope to see you soon," followed by another message that reads, "See you on the road in 2014."

After wrapping up there 50 & Counting Tour this past July, The Stones are set to return to the road in a couple of months with their 14 on Fire trek .  The tour, which kicks off February 21 in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, currently is mapped out through an April 5 concert in Auckland, New Zealand.  The outing also includes stops in Japan, Australia and Macau, China.
