DETROIT (WKZO) -- A group of retired city workers will represent over 23-thousand non-union former employees during Detroit's bankruptcy case.  Earlier this week, U.S. Trustee Daniel McDermott interviewed around 90 former municipal workers for a committee which will have less than a dozen members.  Emergency manager Kevyn Orr has said he wants to cut down what he claims is 3.5-billion dollars in pension debt, but has not yet proposed a specific cut for pensions.
