KABUL (WKZO) -- Reports out of Afghanistan say a National Airlines cargo plane crashed at Bagram Air Field north of the Capital of Kabul, killing all 7 crew members on board.
Five of them are said to be from Michigan.
Coalition spokesman Capt. Luca Carniel said the 747-B crashed right after takeoff. It had been headed to Dubai.
The Taliban quickly claimed responsibility for causing the crash, which was denied by U.S. authorities, who say there was no military activity in the area at the time.
