Paul McCartney has confirmed reports that he will be playing a concert in Milwaukee as part of the U.S. leg of his forthcoming Out There World Tour.  The show will take place on July 16 at Miller Park.

The former Beatles star's last visit to Milwaukee was in October 2005, when he gave a performance at the Bradley Center.  Tickets for the upcoming gig go on sale to the general public via Tickets.com on April 19 at 10 a.m. CT.

In other McCartney news, Mark Ronson , one of the producers who's working on the rock legend's upcoming studio album, says fans can expect the new record to feature some modern, danceable sounds.  Ronson recently told Rolling Stone that during the sessions, Sir Paul "came in one day playing some post- Bonde do Role [BAHN-je doo holay] baile [BUY-leh] funk-moombahton thing, asking, 'How do we get this kind of energy?'"

In case you're not familiar with the references, Bondo do Role is a Brazilian electronic pop band, baile funk is a style of music for which that group is known and moombahton is a genre that mixes house music and reggae influences.

In addition, the producer revealed that McCartney also played Usher 's 2012 R&B hit "Climax" for him and commented, "I love where all the sonics sit in this."
