Here's some great news for Peter Frampton fans. The veteran guitar whiz is offering special packages bundling together his new concert video and his three-CD set capturing performances from his recent tours celebrating the 35th anniversary of his classic 1976 album Frampton Comes Alive! , as well other goodies.
Three separate "Fanpacks" are available for purchase now. "Super Fanpack A" includes the FCA! 35 Tour: An Evening with Peter Frampton CD set, a digital download of the same collection, a choice of either the double-DVD or the Blu-ray version of the FCA! 35 Tour video, an autographed photo book and either a red or a black Frampton T-shirt. "Super Fanpack B" is the same as "Super Fanpack A," except that it includes a cream-colored Frampton T-shirt with a different design than the red and black shirts. Lastly, there's "Fanpack C," which boasts the same items as the Super Fanpacks, minus the T-shirts. The packages range in price from $59.98 to $74.98.
In other Frampton news, the rocker has revealed that during Christmastime, he's planning to work on new material with his son Julian , who is featured singing two tunes on the FCA! 35 Tour video.
"I'm really looking forward to doing this," writes Peter on his Facebook page . "It's hard to find the words to describe the feeling of making music with one of my children. He's a great writer, singer, musician and keeps me on my toes. I can't wait."
Previously, Julian and his dad co-wrote a song called "Road to the Sun" that appears on Frampton's 2010 album, Thank You Mr. Churchill . The younger Frampton also contributed lead vocals to the track.
