While The Who recharges between legs of its "Quadrophenia and More" North American tour , fans soon will be able to watch a documentary about the making of the band's celebrated 1973 rock opera on television. The Who: Quadrophenia -- Can You See the Real Me? will air on BBC America on January 4 at 10 p.m. ET.
The film, which was shown in theaters back in July at special one-night-only screenings, takes an in-depth look at how the classic album came together. Quadrophenia -- Can You See the Real Me? includes recent interviews with guitarist/singer Pete Townshend , as well as rare archival footage of the band from the same time period from when Quadrophenia was released.
The movie recently was made available for purchase as a digital download via iTunes for $9.99.
The Who kicks off the second leg of its "Quadrophenia and More" tour on January 28 in Anaheim, California. The rockers recently added a second Las Vegas date to their itinerary -- a February 10 performance at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
