Lennon's "Pee" Letter Goes Up for Auction

by Mark Cartwright

Further proof that ANYTHING Beatles related can be sold for money....A letter penned by John Lennon to Phil Spector is going up for auction.  The letter, which looks like it was written with a magic marker, implicates Harry Nilsson and The Who's Keith Moon as being guilty of taking a leak on the recording console, not John himself.  The letter also mention May Pang, which would date the letter from about 1975, which is during Lennon's infamous "Lost Weekend" period, when he, Nilsson, Moon, and Ringo Starr were all roommates in Los Angeles, and partying heavily for about a year and a half.  The letter is expected to fetch somewhere near $10,000.  Who would pay that?  Obviously as proved in the past, a lot of people.
