The latest submission to great album art is the first time H. R. Giger makes the list, but certainly not the last. Giger's designs inspired the creature in the movie Alien. He also designed the evil looking microphone stand used by the band Korn. Giger died this spring at the age of 74. Here is one of Giger's most memorable covers. Emerson Lake and Palmer's "Brain Salad Surgery."
