Buying an album used to consist of the thrill of the music, but also reading the liner notes, and occasionally, some incredible cover art. Cover art is pretty much lost on CDs, and further lost on digital downloads. So with that in mind, I would like to occasionally post what I feel are some of my favorite album covers of all time. I only wish I could post them in their original size. Today, I give you the album the my friends and I stared at for hours while listening to the record. The art actually captured our attention more than the music did. I remember having debates with my friend, Tony, about what the symbols emanating from the band's heads meant. We never could figure out Peter Criss'. Here's KISS Rock and Roll Over.
